Deep in the doldrums of summer, we have Florida State quarterback Thomas Castellanos to thank for providing some peak offseason entertainment. The former Boston College standout lit social media aflame with comments he made to On3 in regards to Florida State's Week 1 game against Alabama this season.

The former Boston College quarterback, who transferred to FSU this offseason, didn’t hold back during his recent interview with On3 Sports' Pete Nakos. Castellanos not only praised his new home in Tallahassee but also took aim at his former head coach, Bill O’Brien, and the entire BC program.

Naturally, Alabama fans found it odd for Castellanos to expect a strong outing against the Crimson Tide. Last season, Florida State won just two games. Meanwhile, Castellanos-led teams are 9-10 in games in which he has thrown at least ten passes.
