A global Pride festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community will culminate on Sunday in a rally and march on the National Mall.

"The void will continue to be there in our hearts. But we just pray and pray and pray that maybe one day, things do get a little bit easier," Bishoboyimana Pierre, a family member, said.

Scattered showers are likely through the early afternoon keeping conditions cool today ahead of a warm-up later this week.
