NCAA Softball Tournament is set to start on Friday, May 16 with 64 teams chasing the ultimate prize. The Oklahoma Sooners have won four National Championships in a row, and look to extend their record-setting streak to five.

OU fell behind 6-1 to Arkansas in the third inning of last Friday’s SEC tournament semifinal, got to within 6-5 by the sixth, then won 8-6 on Garcia’s walk-off three-run homer. It was the biggest comeback in SEC tourney history. The next day’s championship game against Texas A&M was rained out and the teams were named co-champions.

Nearly the entire SEC heard their names called at the 2025 NCAA tournament selection show and will compete to make it to the College World Series.
