The "Today" show family is speaking out after the death of co-anchor Sheinelle Jones' husband Uche Ojeh from the aggressive brain cancer glioblastoma.

Uche Ojeh, the husband of ‘Today’ co-host Sheinelle Jones has died following a battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer, it was announced Friday on the morning show.

Sheinelle Jones has been on an extended leave of absence from her role on the NBC morning show since the end of last year to deal with what she described as a "family health matter."
