The new season of the hit summer competition series will begin filming in Las Vegas this fall. Per NBC, Season 18 will introduce a new round featuring what they describe as “a supersized three-lane racecourse, where ninjas will face off head-to-head-to-head in thrilling side-by-side races.” Casting for the new season is currently underway.

The finish line is in sight as the American Ninja Warrior Season 17 National Finals kicked off on August 4.

The network has ordered an 18th season of the competition series that sees contestants working to conquer an intricate obstacle course. Hosts Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Zuri Hall are all set to return. Production on season 18 is set to begin in the fall, with all rounds taking place in Las Vegas.
