Outfielder Josh Lowe was feeling good playing for Triple-A Durham in the final stages of rehabbing the right oblique strain that sidelined him on opening day, and he was slated to rejoin the Rays on Friday in Miami.

Josh Lowe’s leadoff single led to a two-run first inning and a solo homer in the fourth, as the Rays beat the Blue Jays 8-3.

The Rays placed outfielder Travis Jankowski on the 10-day IL with a left groin strain and activated Josh Lowe.
