Scripps Sports has four teams within its NHL broadcast inventory as the Tampa Bay Lightning join the Florida Panthers, Utah Mammoth and Vegas Golden Knights.

Sixteen teams in total make the NBA playoffs, eight teams from both the Eastern and Western Conferences. The top six seeds in each conference advance based on the regular season record. The final two seeds in each conference are wild-card spots based on the best remaining records in each conference.

Eight teams remain in the Calder Cup Playoffs, which decide the championship of the American Hockey League. Hershey (Washington Capitals), one of those eight, has won back-to-back Calder Cup crowns and is bidding to become the first to win three straight Calder Cup titles since Springfield in 1960-62.

Kulikov’s elbow to the head of Mitch Marner in Game 4 drew no supplemental discipline from the NHL's Department of Player Safety, unlike Domi’s hit. Despite the lack of action from the NHL, Marner, who was not seriously injured on the play, addressed the play for the first time ahead of Game 5 during his media availability on Tuesday.

Domi is being fined $5,000 by the NHL—the maximum allowable under the league's collective bargaining agreement—for his hit on Panthers center Aleksander Barkov in the closing seconds of Florida's 2–0 second-round Game 4 win. Charged with boarding, Domi was given a five-minute major penalty that nominally expired when the game ended.
