The Vancouver Whitecaps said a “significant number” of players who traveled to Mexico for last weekend's CONCACAF Champions Cup final have become ill.

Cruz Azul crushed the Vancouver Whitecaps in the CONCACAF Champions Cup by a 5-0 score to win the North American club title for a seventh time. Cruz Azul gave a dominating performance, especially in a superb 1st half to get a historic victory.
