OpenAI teams up with UAE’s G42 to build one of the world’s largest AI data centers in Abu Dhabi, marking its first major project outside the US.

OpenAI said it’s helping to develop a major data center in the United Arab Emirates, a big overseas expansion of its Stargate effort to build out AI infrastructure.

The United States and the United Arab Emirates will build the first overseas “Stargate” artificial intelligence hub, OpenAI said on Thursday.
