Alex Garland has been confirmed to direct a live-action film adaptation of FromSoftware's "Elden Ring" video game, for A24 and Bandai Namco.

After many months of rumors, speculation, and general confusion, the live-action Elden Ring movie has officially been confirmed by Bandai Namco and A24, who announced their collaboration in a press release.

The studio known for auteur-driven films has officially confirmed it is partnering with Bandai Namco Entertainment on a live-action feature movie of Elden Ring. A24 regular Alex Garland, who most recently released Warfare with the studio, will write and direct the feature.
