The Cincinnati Reds are paying tribute to Pete Rose a day after baseball’s career hits leader was posthumously removed from the major leagues’ permanent ineligibility list.

Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that Pete Rose has been officially taken off of its permanently ineligible list, potentially opening the door for him to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
