The search for Vance Luther Boelter, the FBI-wanted man who is suspected of shooting two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses at their residences in the early hours of Saturday morning, is well into its second day.

Vance Boelter is facing several federal charges for allegedly carrying out two separate shootings targeting Minnesota lawmakers. The murder counts make Boelter eligible for the death penalty if convicted.

Vance Boelter was captured in a wooded area on Sunday night, and charged in the shootings of two state lawmakers and their spouses. He appeared in federal court after being charged with murder.
