Federal funding for the USDA’s 1890 National Scholars Program which has been in place for 30 years has been frozen.

Musk has been granted authority to root out wasteful government spending through his Department of Government Efficiency.

Many farmers already paid for equipment that the federal government said it would reimburse. Now, it’s unclear when or if they’ll get that money.
