The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) identified the suspect in Friday's deadly shooting at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC) headquarters as 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White. The GBI provided no additional information when contacted by Newsweek on Saturday morning.

We are getting our first look at Patrick Joseph White, the man accused of shooting more than 150 rounds at four buildings on the main campus of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.

Kenneth White had begged authorities for help as his son, Patrick Joseph White, was unleashing his reign of terror on the CDC's Atlanta headquarters last Friday, according to transcripts obtained by 11Alive.
