The search for the New York Jets’ next head coach rolls on. ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano decided to skip all the way to the end and predict who he believes will land the job. One of the six open head coach positions in the NFL is in New York. The Jets are casting a wide net having interviewed a double digit amount of candidates to this point.

As the New York Jets conduct interviews with every head coach candidate on the face of the Earth, certain targets have turned down the Jets' request for a meeting.

The Jets have completed an interview with Jeff Hafley for their head coach position. Hafley, a New Jersey native, was hired as the Green Bay Packers' defensive coordinator last January. In the 2024-25 regular season, the 'Pack finished No. 3 in rush yards/play (3.96), No. 4 in takeaways (31) and No. 5 overall (314.5 yds/g).
