Rams head coach Sean McVay provided a rather concerning update on Matthew Stafford's back issue as the NFL regular season inches near.

"Some of the storms will produce heavy rainfall with 2 to 4 inch per hour rainfall rates," the NWS in Wichita said in a weather packet released early Thursday morning. "Flash Flooding is likely, especially for locations that experienced very heavy rainfall a few days ago."

With Matthew Stafford still working through his back injury, the Rams quarterback will not take part in a joint practice session with the Dallas Cowboys.
