The San Antonio Spurs are adding another big man to their roster, acquiring Kelly Olynyk from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Malaki Branham, Blake Wesley and a 2026 second-round pick, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

While Olynyk has put together a respectable career, playoff success has eluded him over the past few seasons, with his last trip to the postseason coming in 2020.

San Antonio is a better basketball fit for the 12-year NBA vet, who should settle into a role as a mentor and backup to superstar center Victor Wembanyama.
