Kathy Bates won the Career Achievement Award. Though the award recognized Bates' television work from All My Children to recent work on Harry's Law and American Horror Story, Bates focused on her current work on Matlock, in a video from the set of its second season.

The Pitt on HBO Max was a big winner at the 41st Annual Television Critics Association Awards. TCA also honored Matlock‘s Kathy Bates with a Career Achievement prize while Bridget Everett was recognized for her Individual Achievement in Comedy for her work in HBO’s Somebody Somewhere.

The Pitt, The Studio, Adolescence and Sesame Street were all winners during the Television Critics Association's 2025 awards.
