Juan Soto may be a New York Met, but his first team is still cashing in on the $765 million man. The Washington Nationals, who signed Soto as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic, traded the now 26-year-old outfielder to the San Diego Padres in 2021.

So far, the Queens faithful have been mostly supportive, but after leaving the maelstrom of Yankee Stadium, Juan Soto had another rough series against the Red Sox.

Juan Soto's first season with the New York Mets has gotten off to a bit of a rocky start, with the slugger struggling a little at the plate and also being called out for not hustling in certain situations.
