The Atlanta Falcons' search for a defensive coordinator now includes a former interim head coach for an NFC South Division rival.
As first reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Jets have hired former head coach Steve Wilks to be the team's defensive coordinator and play-caller. Wilks had been teased as the front-runner for New York's defensive job as soon as Glenn was hired by the team last week to be the head coach.
