Cole Escola, channeling Bernadette Peters, thanked fellow nominees in their speech for their history-making Tony Awards win for "Oh, Mary!"

Tony Awards look paid homage to Bernadette Peters. The nominee wore a blue gown took inspiration from Peters' gown from 1999 when she won a Tony for 'Annie Get Your Gun.'

"People just want to pit us Broadway gals against each other, and I think it’s sad," the "Oh, Mary!" actor said.
