North Texas will dry out heading into the weekend with sunny skies and seasonal temperatures. For the second-straight day, a heat advisory is in effect for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to the east, until 7 p.m. Once again, feels like temperatures will reach as high as 108 on Tuesday afternoon.

Slight rain chances will start Monday, but South Texas rainfall will become more widespread by the second half of the week.

On Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued a heat advisory in effect until Wednesday at 7 p.m. The advisory is for Johnson, Bosque, Hill, Bell, McLennan, Falls, Limestone, Leon, Milam and Robertson counties.
