USC and Texas A&M shared the NCAA men's track and field title Friday after USF edged the Aggies in the 1,600-meter relay.

The men’s team championship at the 2025 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships came down to the final event. While South Florida’s 4x400-meter relay team won the title with a time of three minutes, 0.42 seconds, it was a second-place finish by Texas A&M (in 3:00.73) that helped the Aggies pull up to the No. 1 spot.

Texas A&M Men’s Track & Field claimed its fourth outdoor national title in five years. After a dozen-year drought, the Aggies once again sit atop the podium.
