During the Warriors' 131-116 road loss to the Houston Rockets in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series on Wednesday, Rockets forward Dillon Brooks contacted Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry's right hand following a shot. No foul was called, but it was significant since Curry has been nursing an injured right thumb for much of the season.

The all-time Warriors sharpshooter reaggravated the nagging thumb injury at the end of the regular season. In the playoffs, he's been seen intermittently icing it and managing it as best as he can. Frankly, it's a marvel that Curry is still shooting just under 40 percent from the 3-point line even though it's clear his thumb is bothering him.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors still hold a 3-2 lead over the Rockets after getting blown out in Game 5 on Wednesday night. The legendary guard, however, is dealing with a thumb injury on his shooting hand and Charles Barkley couldn't believe what it looked like when he saw a photo of it on Inside the NBA.
