During the Cleveland Browns' rookie minicamp, former Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel took the first reps in workouts over former Colorado Buffaloes passer Shedeur Sanders. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski saying not to read into rep order.

Shedeur Sanders began the process Friday of trying to show he can be a factor in the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback competition.

Sanders was once seen as a potential Top 5 pick in the recently concluded NFL draft, but instead fell all the way to the fifth round before being selected by the Browns. He will face some stiff competition from veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett and started minicamp below fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel on the depth chart.
