The hiring of the Oscar-nominated scribe, who worked on the first 'Hunger Games' movie, was revealed during Lionsgate’s studio presentation at CinemaCon on Tuesday.

We're at the Panel at CinemaCon Las Vegas, and we just got a first look at the new Hunger Games movie, Sunrise on the Reaping. During the event, director Francis Lawrence, who has also directed every movie out of the franchise (except for the first one) shared with the audience what's going on with one of the most exciting upcoming book adaptations.

Lionsgate announced it would be producing a film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' "Sunrise on the Reaping" before the book was even released.
