The NCAA softball regional final extended to game seven after FSU softball was upset against Auburn, 8-3. The Seminoles were held to three hits, while Auburn produced eight hits along with eight runs.

Annabelle Widra, a former Auburn Tiger, took over in the fifth for the Seminoles, but after allowing two more home runs with two outs, Lonni Alameda went deep in the bullpen and put in Mimi Gooden to end the inning and close out the game. Game No. 7 will be set in 35 minutes.
