Fears are growing for a beloved rocker named Daniel Williams after a plane crash due to eerie Instagram photos he posted inside a cockpit. Williams was formerly a drummer for the band Devil Wears Prada.

A Cessna 550 crashed into a Murphy Canyon neighborhood just before 4 a.m. with an unknown number of people on board. Several home caught fire as an apparent result of the crash, leading to evacuations in the military housing neighborhood. Fire fighters are continuing to try to contain the blazes, with smoke visible from outside the neighborhood.

Runway lights and an automated system that provides weather conditions were out of operation at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport before a Cessna crashed into a San Diego neighborhood amid foggy conditions,
