Kristin Cabot, caught in a viral embrace with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, appears to be married to Privateer Rum founder Andrew Cabot, a member of a prominent Boston family.

Cabot appears to be married to Privateer Rum’s CEO, as private records show they’re co-owners of a $2.2 million New Hampshire home.

A stronomer is under fire after a viral video showed its then-CEO Andy Byron in an intimate moment with Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert in Boston. While Byron resigned following public backlash, Cabot remains employed, at least for now.

While Byron's resignation seemed to demonstrate accountability, questions are being raised about why Cabot remains in her role and is still listed on the company's leadership page.

Before being caught in the arms of married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot, boasted that she “wins trust” of CEOs. “An influential leader and fearless change agent, I lead by example and win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants,” she wrote via her LinkedIn bio.

The assortment of band-fan interaction can quickly light up the internet because of how natural the moments are, a digital consultant told the Journal.

Astronomer's interim CEO Pete DeJoy said in an update that the startup had "received a level of media attention that few companies" ever encounter.
