The Magic have had mixed results against the Hawks in recent years, holding a 4-8 record since Paolo Banchero’s arrival in 2022. Three of Orlando’s four total wins during that span have come at home, though the Magic split this season’s series 2-2 with each team taking one game on the road.

Orlando and Golden State clinched the No. 7 seed in their respective conferences with victories in Tuesday's play-in tournament action. The Magic beat the Atlanta Hawks 120-95 in the Eastern Conference, while the Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 121-116 in the Western Conference.

This wasn't the season Magic players expected, largely because of injuries and shooting woes. There's still time for something positive.
