Caitlin Clark will not be in a 3-point shootout during NBA All-Star Weekend, with reps saying she wants her first contest to be at WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indy.

As NBA All-Star Weekend nears, all eyes are on which players will participate in the annual festivities. In 2024, one of the biggest highlights of All-Star Weekend was the first-of-its-kind head-to-head 3-Point Contest held between Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and Liberty superstar Sabrina Ionescu.

The contest, won by Curry, earned the seal of approval from the majority of basketball fans. And it appears the league has even bigger plans for the contest, as there have been rumblings that Curry's former teammate Klay Thompson, as well as Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, could join the fray.

The NBA reportedly wanted to expand on last year’s high-profile shootout between Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu.

Sources tell SBJ's Tom Friend that WNBA star Caitlin Clark has told the NBA she is disinclined to participate in an All-Star Game three-point contest next month that could include Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Sabrina Ionescu.

Fans will have to wait to see Caitlin Clark participate in a 3-point contest. But they likely won't have to wait too long.
