Last week, prosecutors charged a 23-year-old Milwaukee man, Curtis Fisher Jr., with illegal possession of a machine gun, conspiracy and having a firearm as an unlawful user of a controlled substance.

In 2007, when I bought my Glock, there were 105 homicides in Milwaukee, the overwhelming majority by guns. In 2020, here were 193 homicides, making it the deadliest year in Milwaukee’s history.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 25-year-old Milwaukee man is now charged after allegedly leaving out a gun which led to a 5-year-old fatally shooting himself.
