F1, the FIA and the 10 teams agreed to introduce two mandatory stops for this year’s Grand Prix to try and improve the on-track spectacle.

Formula 1 drivers believe it should be accepted that the Monaco Grand Prix will always be boring, and that it has to be appreciated for what it is. The Monte Carlo race produced another dull event last weekend despite the attempt to spice it up with a mandatory two-stop rule.

Going slow was one way to secure points at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday as Formula 1’s attempt to shake up the prestigious race fizzled.
