As Michigan residents recover from the severe storms on May 15, officials say more severe weather could arrive late on May 16. Here's the forecast.

The weather service additionally issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Benzie, Manistee, Van Buren, Allegan, Ottawa, Mason, Muskegon and Oceana counties. Gusts up to 70 mph and golf ball-size hail were expected in those areas.

As severe weather is fresh in our minds from Thursday night's storms, another threat of severe weather looms Friday night. Temperatures will be hot again Friday as most communities will top out in the mid-80s for highs.
