Jack Nicklaus made clear what everyone is thinking about Scottie Scheffler and the rest of his closest competitors at The Memorial Tournament.

With the Longhorns and Buckeyes set to square off in a few months, Scheffler didn't seem concerned about offending Nicklaus with his fandom. "I don't have to be careful," Scheffler said alongside Nicklaus.

A day after he won his second Memorial Tournament, Scheffler sent a heartfelt message to tourney host and golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his wife, Barbara. "It is an honor to stand beside Mr. and Mrs. Nicklaus," Scheffler wrote in an Instagram story post that also featured a photo of him standing alongside Jack and Barbara.
