A shooting was reported in Euless on Thursday, a day after a homicide in Plano. Police from the two cities are expected to release details at a joint news conference this afternoon.

A suspect in a woman’s death in Plano was killed after exchanging gunfire with police in Euless, police said Thursday.

Police are investigating the death of a woman found inside an upscale apartment complex in the Legacy West development. Officers responded to a welfare check around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 6000 block of Water Street. When they entered the unit, they found the woman dead on the floor. No one else was inside the residence, police said.
