Lauri Markkanen is in place for three more years. He is the ideal big for Harper to work with during the early years of his career. At this point, the Jazz are just looking to add talent to the roster. If Harper is that talent, it will check off many boxes.

Rutgers guard Dylan Harper scored 36 and 37 points in back-to-back games in November. Rutgers freshman Dylan Harper announced Monday he’s leaving college and entering the NBA draft. Harper made the announcement on ESPN’s “NBA Today.”

Harper is expected to be the first Rutgers basketball player to be drafted since 2010, when Hamady N’Diaye was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 56th overall pick.
