The pathologist who ruled Ellen Greenberg’s 2011 death by 20 stab wounds a homicide then switched it to suicide, said he now believes her death “should be designated as something other than suicide.” That admission from Marlon Osbourne — the former assistant medical examiner with the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office who conducted Greenberg’s autopsy — came in a sworn statement he signed

Greenberg, 27, was found dead by her fiancé, who returned to their home in Philadelphia to find the door’s swing bar lock in use. After forcing his way in, her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, discovered Greenberg dead with a 10-inch knife in her chest.
