Tech stocks were an outlier, though, and the Nasdaq composite rose 0.2% to set another record thanks to Nvidia, the market’s most influential stock.
If NASDAQ climbs above the 23,000 level, it will head towards the 23,500 level. On the support side, a move below 22,850 will push NASDAQ towards the 50 MA at 22,781.
The Nasdaq Composite was rising 0.5% in the final hour of trading on Tuesday, at around 20,743. The tech-heavy index is on pace for a record closing high, helped by a strong rally in semiconductor stocks.
