Sackets Harbor man arrested on child pornography charges
SACKETS HARBOR, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 47-year-old Sackets Harbor man is facing child pornography charges. The New York State Police arrested Robert Bennett and charged him with promoting a sexual performance by a child after he was arrested on Thursday.
Kristopher Trela, 23, was arrested on Aug. 8 after authorities received multiple tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspicious online activity.
Phillip E. Obenauf was sentenced after pleading guilty to a Class X felony child pornography charge, the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office said.
