A Chicago man has been arrested in connection to the slayings. A member of Gov. JB Pritzker's team was "shaken up but thankfully safe," the governor said in a statement Thursday.
Chicago police and city leaders announced increased patrols in the wake of the shooting at the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Israeli Consulate also weighed in on Thursday. Tara Molina reports.
The gunman allegedly opened fire outside a Wednesday night event at the Capital Jewish Museum and afterward shouted “free Palestine.”
