ESPN 100 wing Braydon Hawthorne, one of the fastest-rising prospects in the senior class, announced his commitment to Kentucky on Tuesday. Hawthorne initially signed with West Virginia last fall, but decommitted from the Mountaineers after Darian DeVries left for Indiana.

Braydon’s final five were Duke, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia, and he is from Huntington (WV). Hawthorne stands at 6-foot-8 with an impressive 7-foot-3 wingspan and can play multiple positions for this team. He’s currently ranked as the 33rd overall recruit and the 10th-ranked small forward in the 2025 class.
