A Bangladeshi military training aircraft crashed into the campus of a school in Dhaka, killing the pilot and at least 18 others, mostly students, officials say.

At least 19 people have died in the Bangladesh Air Force plane crash that struck Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, on Monday, July 21, according to the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

The incident came a little over a month after an Air India plane crashed on top of a medical college hostel in neighbouring India’s Ahmedabad city, killing 241 of the 242 people on board and 19 on the ground, marking the world’s worst aviation disaster in a decade.

PM, and at about 1:30 PM, it crashed into the front side of a three-storey building on the Milestone campus adjacent to a ten-storey college building, trapping several students.
