Williams became the second receiver commit in two days for Alabama, joining Owen Cabell, a three-star from Tennessee who announced on Monday. Williams is the 16th player to join the Crimson Tide’s 2026 group, which has vaulted into the top 10 nationally over the past few weeks.

Alabama football put in work on the recruiting trail in June. Coming into the month with five members of the class, the Crimson Tide landed 15 commitments, eight of which came in the final nine days of the month. As of June 30, Alabama has the No. 8 recruiting class nationally per 247Sports' composite rankings.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are going to be one of the teams on the short list to compete for a College Football Playoff title. They have much to prove this season after missing out on the postseason for the second time in three seasons last year.
