Kade Anderson is ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the 2025 MLB draft class by ESPN's Kiley McDaniel. Anderson solidified his spot at the top of the prospect board with a strong run through the NCAA baseball tournament, including a terrific start in the College World Series championship series.

Anderson had Tommy John surgery in high school that took him off the trajectory he was on as an underclassman, to be a seven-figure prospect out of high school. He's eligible as a sophomore because of his age and showed flashes during the 2024 season as a freshman but threw only 38⅓ innings.
